Bakker Taxidermy has a real passion for Life-size mounts, they have become our specialty. Whether you'd like a mount full of motion, like a cougar jumping on a mule deer or elk, or a relaxed black bear in a Canadian woods habitat. Many times hunters give us photos of the area they hunted in to help us create a realistic habitat. Putting your special trophy in a realistic habitat will add much to the enjoyment of your mount. We like to build mounts for a certain place in your home or trophy room. This way you won't have to just find a spot somewhere.

Additional Services
Skinning or Caping Big Game
Caping deer and other big game correctly is important if it’s going to be used on a taxidermy project. To ensure a quality final mount, we will meet you and skin your game on the back of your pickup. Just be sure to tell us your hunting story while we’re there!
Transport of your life-size mount
We offer delivery services for getting your trophy home. One option is through Trophy Transport, a carrier that hauls mounts from coast to coast via semi trailer. Trophy Transport is a great, peace of mind option for large and small pieces. Another option is Bakker Taxidermy delivering via trailer. We have years of experience scoring nearly ever type of trophy. We provide free trophy scoring to any project we work on.
Taxidermy Repair
Over time nearly any taxidermy product may lose a certain life like qualities, or be damaged. Depending on the level of repair needed, we may be able to bring your trophy back to its original state. Contact us for more information — sending us pictures always helps!
